Social Pics: Launch Of Lanc?me’s L’Absolu Rouge Lip Range

Guests and celebrity fans attended an intimate Lanc’me?event hosted at The Wilde, 53 Merrion Square, Dublin 2 to celebrate the?launch of Lanc’me’s Iconic Rouge Lip Colour Collection,?L’Absolu Rouge lip range.

Attendees enjoyed a cocktail mix of ?Pink Lady? Cocktails, made with Beefeater Gin, pasteurised egg white, grenadine and lemon juice or ?Sweet Lips? cocktails, made Finlandia Vodka, raspberry schnapps, cranberry juice.?Delicate bites included mini Lamb Koftas with Cucumber and mint raita; mini Gourmet Hamburgers; ‘mini tartlets with caramelized red onion & goats cheese; Basil and pasta Bruschettas and fiery red tandoori chicken on bamboo skewers with a rustic aioli dip. Beauty Editors Melanie Morris and Donna Fitzpatrick also joined the gathering.

Lanc’me gave free rein to make-up artist Lisa Eldridge to create 14 new shades for the new collection. ?I wanted to create a collection of extremely pure shades that irresistibly attract the eye and the imagination,? explained Eldridge. ?I also made sure that each colour family was well represented, with perfect nudes, intense reds, deep raspberries, punchy oranges and simple yet vibrant pinks.?

The result is a range of 36 shades, with either a sheer, cream or matte texture finish, each one is nestled inside a new tube, a tribute to the jewel cases created by Armand Petitjean.
