Guests arrived at Kevin Kavanagh Gallery in Dublin 8 in a haze of purple light, making the location easily identifiable. Suitably purple and festive in equal measures guests on the night included Jodie Wood, Amy Heffernan and make-up artists Leonard Daly and Dearbhla Keenan.
Familiar faces toasting Christmas and the selection of Urban Decay Naked Palette gift options available this Christmas from the new Urban Decay Boutique on Grafton Street, House of Fraser at Dundrum Town Centre and Debenhams nationwide, included James Patrice who had just finished putting up his own family decorations, sisters Avila Lipsett and Roz Lipsett (displaying for the first time her lovely bump as she prepares for own 2018 special arrival). Fashion stylists Emily O’Donnell and Anne-Marie O’Connor were joined by leading Irish designers Emma Manly and Laura Jane Halton.
Make-up artists there on the night included Danielle Mahon, who just announced her 2018 Irish Roadshow with the legendary Gok Wan; Youtube sensation Eimear McElheron, Belle Make-up Artist and Fabiana Copolla.
Guests enjoyed a choice of cocktails (the Urban Reviver and Old Man Christmas), whilst festive nibbles included baby roast turkey on thyme focaccia with cranberry sauce; smoked Salmon blini with lemon and crème fraiche; medium rare fillet of Christmas spiced beef on a toasted croute with horseradish crème; green Christmas tree cones with goat’s cheese and red berry mousse and baby mince pies.
