?After its inaugural year, House‘returns to the RDS in 2017 bringing world class-interiors, design and contemporary art together in one place, this May 26-28. Here’s what to expect…
Over 180 market leading creative visionaries and design experts will share their inspiration and expertise, including O?Hagan Design, Annie Sloan Paints, Houseology, Waterford Stanley, Michael Farrell Kitchens, Neptune by Global Village, The Hardwood Flooring Company and House of Fabric to name a few.
Throughout the weekend, meet the practitioners and take inspiration and advice from the array of well-known industry leaders and innovators who will all take part in a series of talks on the House 2017 Inspiration Stage. These include:
Jo Hamilton
One of the UK’s leading interior designers, Jo is noted for her confident grasp of colour and luxury aesthetic and has been running her own interior design consultancy since 1995. She has been involved in many high-end projects throughout Ireland, the UK, New York, Miami and Dubai, which have ranged from city apartments to stylish country retreats, restaurant and hotels to yachts and private jets. Along with her private interior design work, Jo is also the resident interior designer for Grand Designs Live.
Dermot Bannon
Dermot Bannon is one of the leading voices in Irish architectural design. He has hosted RT’s Room To Improve TV series since 2007 and has transformed the homes and lives of hundreds of clients with his own practice Dermot Bannon Architects (DBA), which he established in 2008.
Roisin Lafferty
Roisin Lafferty is the award-winning founder and managing director of Kingston Lafferty Design (KLD), one of Ireland’s foremost interior architecture and design houses, which has quickly made its mark and has received prestige and recognition as a respected design agency across Ireland and?Europe.
Contemporary Art
Have you also thought about how unique, quality art can transform and revive your home and lend that extra aesthetic appeal that you have always wished for?
Beautiful art can instantly update and change the atmosphere of a room and at Art Loft @ House 2017, highly sought after contemporary Irish artists will be showcasing their fantastic work including: Steven Mannion-Farrell whose work features above, Eoin O’Connor, Orla Walsh, David Coyne and Ruthie Ashenhurst.
