Saoirse Ronan’s Greystones house is on the market for €1.5 million

Saoirse Ronan’s five-bedroom house in Greystones, Co Wicklow is officially on the market. Priced at €1.5 million by Galvin estate agents, the property boasts a private setting and prestigious location.

The 25-year-old actress bought the house in 2017, but as she spends so much time working abroad, it’s no surprise she’s selling up again.

Private, wrought-iron, electronic gates are installed at the top of the sweeping driveway (understandable, given the former resident was a Hollywood A-lister).

Behind the front door lies a spacious entrance hallway. With its sophisticated floor tiles, high ceilings and spotlights, estate agents at Galvin say it’s, “worthy of the most elegant dinner party”.

To the right, there are two interconnecting reception rooms; namely a living room and dining area. While this large space creates a welcoming, open-plan feel, sliding doors can separate the rooms for privacy.

Elsewhere, the newly fitted bathrooms are comparable to those in five-star hotels. Some key features include a marble vanity top, subway tiles, a clawfoot bathtub, and a spacious walk-in shower with rainfall showerhead.

A golden, heated towel rail, plus golden taps and showerhead, only add to the luxury.

Outside

Saoirse Ronan’s Greystones house has beautifully tranquil, landscaped gardens. Beyond the tree-lined driveway, there are manicured lawns with mature greenery and high walls – creating an intimate, private setting.

There is also a long, narrow patio area to the front – perfect for enjoying a morning coffee; as well as a large patio area to the back for al fresco dining.

Estate agents at Galvin say, “Once you arrive at the property there is a real sense of peace… where the only sounds pervading the quiet calm are the birds in the day time and the noise of the ocean nearby by night.”

There’s no doubt Saoirse Ronan has luxuriously good taste.
