Last night, 28th of January saw the programme launch of the Audi Dublin International Film Festival in the iconic Whelans venue.

The Irish Film Industry has never been busier, productions both large and small are reaching wider audiences and there is an abundance of talent working in the sector today. The ADIFF Discovery Award aims to identify, champion, support and encourage new and emerging talent from both in front of, and behind the camera.

Drinks on the night were provided by Official Beverage Sponsor Peroni Nastro Azzurro,?who will sponsor an Italian night in The Lighthouse Cinema with special guest and Italian film icon, Claudia Cardinale. Cardinale will accept the Volta Award and partake in a public Q&A following the screening of her new movie, Ultima Fermata.

The Audi Dublin International Film Festival’s 14th programme features more than 80 films from 27 countries across an 11 day celebration of film, from Thursday, 18th to Sunday, 28th February. To book tickets, visit www.diff.ie.
