The annual St Brigid National School (Castleknock) fashion show is a big deal, socially and financially (it raises funds for one of the country’s biggest nashers). More than 350 women attended the event at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, enjoying pink champagne and a mixture of clothes from High Street collections and boutique labels. A/Wear, The Dress Pantry and Arnotts supplied plenty of wow factor while TV3’s Colette Fitzpatrick put nervous parents and teachers at ease. Raffle prizes included luxury stays at Aghadoe Heights, Wineport Lodge and Castle Durrow- not your normal PTA fare.
