The capital of Ulster lit up in style as the region’s fashion elite gathered for Belfast Fashion Week. Over three days and nights, there were a series of catwalk shows, hair and beauty showcases reflecting the high fashion spring/summer trends for 2013. On the final day, a Sunday, James Street South restaurant played host to a very stylish lunch for over 80 guests including Alison Clarke, Cathy Martin, Lisa Harrison and Gemma Garrett. In addition to a delicious three-course meal by chef Niall McKenna, the gathered fashion lovers were shown highlights from local designer Una Rodden’s latest collection, favoured by the likes of Christine Bleakley, Nadine Coyle and Mischa Barton. As the afternoon drew to a close, everyone departed with goodie bags containing Shu Umuera and L?Oreal hair products and Vita Liberata tan, declaring this 15th Belfast Fashion Week the best one yet.
