Just what the doctor ordered

The majority would agree that Auld Lang Syne is the most depressing song in existence (well, that, and Happy Birthday). I try to avoid both wherever possible the forced joie de vivre just has the opposite affect on me. So when New Years Eve knocks around, I pray for something different to get me in the celebratory mood. This year, I have a New Years Eve wedding on the cards (Sing hallelujah), so I can indulge in a genuine celebration, for a change.

If you are getting married at this exciting time of year, don’t let New Year tradition over-shadow your wedding night antics. A glitzy gold backdrop, hanging paper lanterns, or an ombre display of coloured glassware will give a gentle nod, without losing sight of why your guests are really there.
