Last Friday morning at 7.30 a.m., The Marker Hotel was humming with over 200 people sipping coffee and excitedly discussing the inspirational speakers for the first IMAGE Networking Breakfast of the year.

Soon they were ushered in to the room where they discovered a gorgeous notebook from RaboDirect with an inspirational quote embossed on it, as well as a luxury gift bag packed with treats and surprises. Attendees received?three Dr. Hauschka products, a adorable 2016 notebook from Paperchase and sweet snacks from Brodericks.

The theme was ‘New Horizons’ and everyone came fully prepared to embrace some new opportunities and fresh faces. First up was Deirdre O’Brien, Director of Sales & Marketing at the Powerscourt Estate, discussing her rise in the hotelier business and the importance of positivity and confidence in networking. Second was Sinead Brady to explain the importance of the career pivot and how vital finding a career you love is to creating a happy, fulfilling life for yourself. Finally, Anna Malmhake took the stage to tell her story of growing up in Sweden to becoming CEO of Irish Distillers and the IMAGE CEO of the Year 2015.

The morning was wrapped up with a few more surprises as three attendees discovered a makeover package worth €150 from Zeba Hairdressing and Ken Boylan under their seats, three more won a session with life coach Sinead Hardiman, €150 Spa voucher for The Marker Hotel and a savings account with €50 courtesy of RaboDirect. Finally one lucky person left with an overnight’stay for two people sharing with dinner in Marlfield House, Co. Wexford courtesy of Ireland’s Blue Book.

As people headed out the door chattering about what a great start to the weekend it had been, they were met by the lovely folks at Boots who gifted everyone a gift bag packed with Boots Botantics goodies.
