Around 750 guests donned their finest for the third annual Media Awards at The Burlington Hotel in Dublin. An opportunity to showcase Irish media on a national scale, the awards honour innovative thinkers in the press, digital, TV and radio. The evening kicked off with a wine reception before guests were treated to a three-course dinner before the winners were announced. MC, comedian Colm O?Regan kept spirits high by introducing a little humour into proceedings, while Paul Keenan, CEO of Bauer Media UK, which publishes Grazia and Closer, served as chairman of the judging panel. The evening was truly a pivotal event for the Irish media industry.
