The NFL Superbowl XLIX will go down as one of the more memorable in recent history as the New England Patriots ran out 28-24 winners over reigning champions the Seattle Seahawks. The final play of the game has been dubbed the worst decision in Superbowl history but it wasn’t only the incredible action on the field that caught the imagination of the viewers. The undoubted performance of the night belonged to someone who was a bit of a Dark Horse (sorry…) coming into the game. Katy Perry absolutely rocked the half-time show
Perry’s half-time show lasted twelve minutes and somehow managed four outfit changes! Something which Tyra Banks found almost impossible to believe!
How in the heck did @katyperry change clothes so fast. Even when I was doing fashion shows, “quick changes” were longer than that!

In the pre-match press conference, Katy promised that “jaws will drop and faces will melt” during her performance. While our faces remained perfectly intact, we can’t argue that the California native didn’t absolutely knock our socks off! We weren’t the only ones impressed either.
It’s official. Katy Perry is magic.

You can watch the full performance below. Keep an eye out for the dancing sharks that we all saw in our dreams (or nightmares…) last night. Special guest performances from Missy Elliott and Lenny Kravitz were also distinct highlights in what will go down as perhaps the second best half-time show of all time. That honour belongs to a certain Mr. Springsteen.
