Kate Moss & Carphone Warehouse

Kate Moss & Carphone Warehouse

I am a huge fan of La Moss so when I heard about her collaboration with Carphone Warehouse to design ‘fashion tech’ accessories, my interest was piqued. I was a little dubious of how phone covers could emulate the ‘Kate’ brand of cool but she’s done it. In her second only design collection (the first being Topshop, of course) she has managed to create an extremely desirable range.

Kate_casesPhone accessories have never really been my thing but that era is now officially over; I am crushing so hard on these phone and tablet cases. All the designs are based on Kate’s own wardrobe and accessories, mixing hard-edge statements with an understatedly chic element that is very her. ?My favourite is the studded iPhone case, and the iPad cover with tiny anchor details in it’s interior is fabulous. She brought her favourite things to the design brainstorm – an old lighter, a studded bag she loves, a pair of crocodile leather boots and of course, her anchor tattoo, which has become her own personal monogram. These elements were cleverly and stylishly worked into the collection and I, for one, love it. Clever collab Carphone Warehouse, this one’s gonna sell out.

It’s in Carphone Warehouse stores today, the 1st of August…GO!
