#JobFairy: We’re hiring an editorial intern for the digital desk

Do you love writing, social media and everything digital? Image digital desk is seeking a graduate or media newbie who is looking for practical experience in a busy and dynamic publishing house. Training will be provided in picture research and editing, website management, analytics and social media, and the successful applicant will have one-to-one mentoring with the Image digital team to help broaden their skill set, improve existing talents and build their portfolio over the period of a three-month internship.

You will work online, researching, sourcing stories, pitching stories, assisting the social media manager, assisting on shoots, and assisting the editorial team with all aspects of magazine life including, photoshoots, events and admin.

Skills Requirement: The suitable candidate will be digitally led and literate, have a strong interest in social media, a love of writing and magazines, strong organisational skills, plus a willingness to learn and meet deadlines. An interest in design will be a benefit.

Compensation: This is an unpaid internship, with a stipend for travel and expenses.
