IMAGE Publications is looking for a dynamic graphic design graduate to work on a wide range of creative projects across all Image Publications’ channels. In this exciting, fast-paced environment the successful applicant will receive hands-on professional experience and mentorship while enhancing their design portfolio. As an integral part of the company’s creative team, you will work on various design projects across the company’s esteemed portfolio of print magazines (IMAGE, Image Interiors & Living, Garden Heaven) and the Image.ie website and social platforms, sourcing images and designing pages, social media graphics, event promotional material and various company design assets.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and source high quality imagery
  • Check that images are high quality and hi-res
  • Do basic cutouts on (for example) catwalk shots
• Manage IMAGE magazine’s visual board on a daily basis
• Perform preflight checks on files ready for pre-press
• Liaise with pre-press
• Assist in designing and laying out certain magazine pages
• Upload PDFs to content management system
• Generate social media graphics

What You’ll Have:

• A very strong visual aesthetic
• A good working knowledge of InDesign and the full Adobe Suite
• A passion for design, no matter the size of the deliverable
• Ability to succeed in adaptive, fluid environment
• A collaborative, “make it work” attitude
• A desire to grow and progress your career
• A desire to upskill in a creative career specific area
