J Law and Nicholas Hoult Split. Why?

Rumours have been brewing these last few days about the state of Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult’s relationship with various gossip sites claiming the pair broke up. While the two young actors have been on and off in the past – they met in 2011 on the set of X Men: First Class and split in 2013 before getting back together while shooting X Men: Days of Future Past – this time it looks like it might be a permanent separation. And considering Hoult has been seen getting cosy with his Mad Max: Fury Road co-star Riley Keough, we think it’s gone past the taking-time-before-moving-on phase. You might remember Riley from that other major young Hollywood split – she reportedly consoled Robert Pattinson after pictures surfaced of Kristen Stewart cavorting in a car park with director and then-married man Rupert Sanders.

Jennifer and Nicholas are seen as Hollywood’s most likeable couple and seemed pretty steady – they’re a team on the red carpet with Hoult letting Jennifer and her personality shine. However might she have been letting all the viral interviews and gifs go to her head? Celebrity Fix is reporting the reason Hoult ended things was because of Jennifer’s ?exploded ego? in the last few months and her obsession with fame. She does love namedropping J Lo and parties at Madonna’s house into conversations… And we imagine an Oscar and a bunch of record-breaking franchises would boost one’s confidence. Apparently Hoult ?hates how in love with fame Jen is, and he told her he hates dating an A-list actress.?

Jennifer claimed a few months ago that the two actors kept their relationship strong when shooting apart by agreeing to ‘mutually ignore each other? when busy. Maybe she should have Whatsapped Nicholas more? Jennifer is apparently keen to reunite so watch this space.
