Is Ellie Goulding Singing The New Bond Song?

Is Ellie Goulding Singing The New Bond Song?

Ellie Goulding at the celebration of Marriott International's and Universal Music Group's global marketing partnership at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel on June 30, 2015 in London, England.

She did such a good job on Fifty Shades of Grey, might Ellie Goulding be taking on another very complicated man?

Well, this is confusing. Remember a few months ago when everyone and their doting mother was convinced Sam Smith was the next singer to take on a James Bond theme song for Spectre? That may not be happening anymore. In fact, Ellie Goulding is the latest name associated with the latest 007 installment, the upcoming Spectre. The singer was photographed leaving Abbey Road Studios, and the tabloids have all but handed her a Best Song Oscar nomination.

Yesterday, the singer posted an Instagram of her leaving the iconic recording studio with the caption ?That’s a wrap!? (Have to say, we love the jumper.)

That’s a wrap!

Now, you may be thinking the media are grasping at the vaguest of straws – a famous singer in Abbey Road! – but this here space has become the studio behind the Bond movies? recording space of choice.

While we do love Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding’s contribution the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack was catchy, fun and probably the standout tune on an already excellent album.

Spectre hits cinemas on October 25th, so expect denial or confirmation rumours soon.
