#IMAGEInspires: What Does A Bone Broth Entrepreneur Eat In A Day?

As we gear up for our 11th Businesswoman of the Year Awards, we’re looking at some?incredible women making things happen. Irish businesswoman (and Dragon’s Den favourite) and bone broth extraordinaire Sarah Kiely of Sadie’s Kitchen gave us a nose inside her fridge and asides from pouch after pouch of that delicious broth, we’re more than happy that – despite being a very healthy eater – she too loves a good steak. Oh, and she’s fond of a late-night snack, which is even better in our eyes.?

What is always in your shopping basket?

Sundays are for brunch 😍 This shakshuka by @nourishforlife_nutrition is on the menu today. What are you guys having for brunch? We have some great recipes over on our blog! Fresh prawns, fillet steak, free range chicken, cooked salmon fillets, cucumbers, cottage cheese, vermicelli noodles, limes, chilies, root veg and tons of sparkling water.

What is your comfort food?

I absolutely adore a warming chicken pho. It’s my go-to when I’m feeling rubbish or have had a late night. The mixture of spices, aromatic broth, and silky noodles are so restorative and nourishing. I live off the stuff.

What’s the ultimate hangover cure?

Pho or a very spicy Bloody Mary.

If you could only pick three things to eat for the rest of your life, what would they be?

Fillet steak, kimchi & bone broth.

?What would your last meal on earth be?

A really good steak, whipped mashed potatoes, asparagus and lashing of pepper sauce.

What do you typically eat in a day?

I’m not a huge morning person, so breakfast isn’t an urge unless it’s a lazy weekend brunch. On fast days, I’ll sip bone broth until dinner time two nonconsecutive days a week and enjoy a balanced dinner. ?Lunch is usually a salad from Chopped or a salmon fillet and last night’s veg. I am a big dinner person and always need the warming feeling a proper meal gives me at that hour. Most of my meals are bone broth based, especially if I am eating late. I am a late-night snacker, so try to limit the amount of unhealthy options in the pantry as best I can.

Breakfast is? usually, a cup of bone broth unless it’s the weekend, then a late breakfast/early brunch of eggs and sourdough anything.

Lunch is? a salad or lean protein with some rough veggies

Dinner is? a pho, Italian Wedding Soup, mini-stew, chicken noodle broth etc…

?Is there anything you don’t eat??

I’m not a huge fan of oysters.
