Join IMAGE contributing editor Melanie Morris and three of Ireland’s most engaging, empowering women to hear how they’ve made their mark on the business world, and how you can do the same. Our speakers for the morning will be Tanya Clarke, general manager of Diageo Reserve Europe, interior designer and entrepreneur Helen Turkington and career psychologist Leeanne Rose O’Morain. Tanya and Helen will share stories from their career ascent, while Leeanne will bring it home with tips and insights on how to make this year your happiest, most productive, most successful one yet.

Leeanne Rose O’Morain, Career psychologist 

 

After graduating from DCU with a BA in International Business and Languages, Leeanne Rose worked across several international markets including the US, Canada and the EMEA, in well-known tech and financial institutions such as Apple, Deutsche Bank, Depfa Bank and FMS Asset Management. Whilst working in this fast paced environment Leeanne Rose was made increasingly aware of her colleagues struggles to balance daily challenges, whether it be from corporate or personal life, and more often both.

Through her desire to help people through their struggles Leanne decided to pursue a degree in Psychology using her previous observations as the foundations of her thesis.

Post qualification Leanne Rose decided to move things to the next level by setting up her own Psychology and Coaching business Aret? Psychology & Coaching. Enabling her to work with both individual clients and organisations to help personal development and creativity. Leanne Rose’s main aim is to help harness her client’s strengths and use their unique talents to catalyse their success whilst maintaining a healthy work-life balance that sustains emotional, psychological and spiritual fulfilment. As well as her coaching business Leanne Rose is also admiringly a volunteer with the Rape Crisis Centre, where she provides support for adult survivors of rape and sexual assault.

 

 

Tanya Clarke, General Manager of Diageo Reserve Europe

Graduated from Dublin City University with an Honours B.A. in International Marketing, Spanish Major & French Minor. Also graduated from La Universidad de Alcala de Henares, Spain in Business & Languages.

 

Previously located in London and recently returned to Dublin, Tanya Clarke is the General Manager of the Diageo Reserve brands in Europe, a position she has held since September 2014. She has 20 years international marketing & commercial experience within the beverage sector.

Her role entails leading a business unit that is focused on accelerating growth of the Diageo luxury spirits portfolio across key cities and resorts in Europe. Tanya leads a dedicated luxury selling team for the Reserve spirits portfolio across Europe. The portfolio includes brands such as CIROC Vodka, Tanqueray 10 gin, Talisker Malt Whisky, BULLEIT Bourbon, Zacapa rum and Roe & Co. Tanya’s diverse and high-performance team is comprised of over 200 people based across more than ten countries. Tanya has held a number of senior marketing roles in Diageo, in Asia Pacific and within Europe and in Nestle UK. She has also held the position of Head of Marketing, GUINNESS, Diageo Ireland, 2007-2011.
