Fashion designer and former Hills star Whitney Port has married producer Tim Rosenmann, according to E! News.
The site reports that the pair wed on Saturday in Palm Springs, California and that Port wore a custom-fit wedding dress by Ashi Couture while rings were provided by Tacori. The nuptials come two years after the couple announced their engagement. There were rumours that the wedding had taken place back in October after a telling Instagram picture surfaced online (she isn’t wearing her wedding dress in the snap apparently), but this time it’s the real thing as confirmed with this appropriate quote:
It’s such a great feeling!? the couple said. ?We finally get to stop saying fianc? and be husband and wife! We always knew we would end up together, and now we can start a new amazing chapter in our lives. The wedding was everything we hoped it would be and will cherish the memories for the rest of our lives.”
UPDATE: Port took to social media to reveal her unique wedding dress, which we think is very beautiful. She’donned an incredibly stylish gown?for the occasion, which featured a high-low skirt and a lace bodice embellished with pearls. It is certainly different, but it looks exquisite on her.
Port first met her other half while filming her MTV Hills spin-off reality series The City in New York. Her now-husband was an associate producer on the show. And like the modern woman she is, the reality star revealed that it was she who kick-started their romance.
“I definitely made the first move,” the QVC designer said. “I got his phone number and made up some excuse why I needed to reach him for something. I kind of felt he was never gonna try it with me. He’s not shy, but I know in his past with girls he had difficult making the first move.”
“And I know, because of our jobs?because I was the talent and he was the producer?he wasn’t going to cross that line,” she explained. “It had to be me, you know.” And as we know now, her instinct was on point?and they are happily immersed in wedded bliss.
What do you make of her gown?
