Harper Calls David Beckham Chubby

Our crush on David Beckham is as never-ending as the tides, which is why this Jimmy Kimmel Live interview with the former footballer and forever god is going to dominate our Youtube playlist for the next week.

David shares details of fatherhood with the American chat show host that will melt the stoniest of hearts. First up daughter Harper recently told David,

?Daddy, I love you so much, but I don’t like you, you’re so chubby!?

As Jimmy Kimmel quips, ?Does chubby mean perfect over in England??

After a football career lasting 22 years, David’s ‘retirement? has seen him take a more hands on approach with his family. He jokes that his life now is effectively playing taxi driver to his three sons and daughter, but also admits, ?To be honest, it’s great.?

Although he ferries his sons between school and soccer academy, Beckham tells Kimmel that the boys are reaching the age where they are a bit reluctant to be seen with their dad at the school gate. Turns out wife Victoria has to remind their brood that they actually have quite a cool dad.

Have a watch of the adorable interview below.
