Happy Birthday Cheryl!

Our favourite petit Geordie turns thirty-two today and we’re delighted how happy she’s been lately. She’s currently in Italy, after being whisked away for a surprise birthday trip by her husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini. It seems that her thirties are suiting Cheryl, and we don’t just mean in appearance.

It’s not that long ago that she was in the public eye undergoing a painful divorce from footballer Ashley Cole in 2010. In 2011, things were?been looking up for Cheryl when she nabbed a judging spot on the new American X Factor, from which she planned to launch her music career across the pond. Alas it wasn’t meant to be and Simon Cowell fired her after just two weeks on the job. The rumour mill circulated that Cheryl’s poor relationship with the other judges and her strong Newcastle accent made her unsuitable for a U.S. audience.

However since hitting thirty, Cheryl has made a triumphantly stylish return to the U.K. X Factor, married French restauranteur/international man on mystery Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in a super secret ceremony after a whirlwind three-month romance and is now preparing for the new season of X Factor with fellow judges Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw. We take a look back at her best outfits since she hit the big 3-0.
