Culture Night and more: what’s on around Ireland this weekend

We’re in for a treat this weekend, event chasers. Culture night has finally returned to Dublin, and tonight will be filled with enough activities to wear you out for the whole weekend. But don’t stop there, there’s plenty more to come. Happy weekend from IMAGE!

Friday: Wander the city on Culture Night

A highlight in Ireland’s cultural calendar, Culture Night is back on Friday night, with a massive range of events taking place in every county in the country. Here in Dublin, you can expect live painting, history walks, plays, poetry and so much more. Many of the events and venues are free to enter, just make sure you check the website and book ahead for anything up your street.

This weekend: Have a tipple at the Brewtonic Beer Festival

You know we’re fans of Eatyard’s fabulous events here at IMAGE, and this weekend sees another great one. Brought to you by Brewtonic, the two-day festival will host plenty of beer-lover’s best craft blends, (think Kinnegar, Beavertown, 5 Lamps and Brewtonic themselves), as well as some great activities to wash them down. Beer pong anyone?

This weekend: Refuel at Dublin Vegfest

If vegan food and plenty of samples are your game, then Dublin Vegfest will be the highlight of your weekend this week. Taking place over Saturday and Sunday at Griffith College, Vegfest will host everything from lifestyle talks, demo’s, cruelty-free products, exhibitors, non-profits, charities and animal rescues. And you don’t have to be vegan to muck in – the food tastes delicious with any diet.

Wednesday: Be inspired at the Young Businesswomen’s Forum

At IMAGE’s YBF this month, it’s a media masterclass, focused on building your brand and handling your own PR in a social media-driven age. Our three guest speakers, (Marissa Carter, founder & CEO of Cocoa Brown, Kathryn Mason, founder & CEO of Masonry and Gerardine Lally, founder of Lally & Associates) all cover something different from the world of branding and PR, but are all equally inspiring and motivating. There are only a few tickets left though, so get in there quick!
