FRIDAY FriYAY: 3 New Summer Menus You NEED To Try This Weekend

Summer in the city is the best time to get out and make the most of our awesome food scene and the beautiful long Summer evenings. Here we’ve got a round-up of some of the best seasonal menus on offer right now.

High-end Pizza and Craft Beers at The Woolen Mills

We’re loving The Yarn, Dublin’s latest pizza eatery run by Nicky Higgins, brother of Conor Higgins of Oxmantown and Cotto on Stoneybatter so we know we’re in good hands here. On a balmy evening in the city what could be better than getting together with a gaggle of mates to toast the temperature with a cold beer and bare arms? Dublin’s coolest new pizza joint The Yarn at The Woollen Mills promises proper wood-fired pizzas with top-notch toppings (think pomodoro San Marzano, braesola, scamorza) and killer cocktails to boot. Don’t miss the watermelon and chilli margarita. Check out?theyarnpizza.com

Live it Up with Lobster at The Marker

The return of the BubbleClaws menu to The Brasserie restaurant at the Marker, Grand Canal Dock was met with delight all round, after all, it’s a steal – for €120 couples can enjoy a bottle of Ayala champagne, grilled blue lobster, salad and Parmesan and truffle fries. Also to top it all off diners are invited to sip cocktails post-dinner and watch the sunset from the stunning rooftop terrace. If lobster isn’t your thing, the Summer menu at The Brasserie also has gorgeous seasonal dishes to indulge in while enjoying the star-spotting in this Dockland’s destination hotel. Seriously, the star-spotting is top notch here, my husband had to practically restrain me from accosting Justin Bieber’s backing dancers for a selfie, yes I am that sad. The Bubbleclaws is popular so pre booking is essential, email bookyourtable@themarker.ie or call 01 6875104.

Classy Cocktails At The Shelbourne

Tenner cocktails are available at one of Dublin’s high-end hotels, the Shelbourne. We love hitting the Shelbourne’s red carpet (they fully have a red carpet, it is the best) and relaxing in considerably more salubrious surrounds than we are ordinarily accustomed to. No. 27 Bar and Lounge have launched a whole new cocktail menu to celebrate Summer. These summery flavours are pretty special, our fave the??Saoradh? combines the delicious notes of?Belsazar Rose with Prosecco and raspberry?and orange blossom tea syrup topped off with soda, fresh?raspberries, and an orange garnish.
