Ireland’s fashion elite, including former model and PR Sonia Reynolds, Xpos? presenter Aisling O’Loughlin, and Dublin Fashion Festival co-ordinator Kathryn Ryan gathered for this event. The air of curiosity was palpable as Helen McAlinden presented her autumn/winter collection to a selection of press and opinion formers recently. Guests had gathered in the new Georgian Society home, in the impressive, double-height, octagonal Exhibition Room and were first to see the remarkable new space. It provided the perfect backdrop for a collection full of the wow-factor, with must-have dresses, smart separates and innovative design and tailoring. Natural wools, tweeds, silks and leather featured prominently as ?classic with a twist? dressing took on a new dimension. With glasses of prosecco to toast the collection, and delicious canap’s by La Maison, all agreed Helen McAlinden to be a true arbiter of style
