New York Fashion Week, Bridal Inspiration

Edgy bridal inspiration is hard to come by; white on white just doesn’t cut it for us anymore. Where are the rebels, bold enough to bend the rules of bridal fashion? Each designer at New York Fashion Week explored different themes from femininity, to architecture and intrigue. Caroline Herrera embraced a palette of cool blue, grey and black, sculpted hemlines with sheer paneling, while Dion Lee surprised us with mesh detailing and petrol blue cutout satin gowns.

Indeed, New York Fashion Week did not disappoint, although temperatures outside plummeted to a frosty -7c, it didn’t stop scantly clad models from heating up the runway. Draped in next season’s lust-worthy garments, a who’s who of supermodel ?Instagirls? had us swooning at their feet. So, whether you’re a bride or bridesmaid, just remember that edgy can be romantic, you just have to be inventive and brave.
