Looking for a droolworthy summer pick-me-up? Baste BBQ To Go launches in Dublin 8

This week, Dublin BBQ king Andy Noonan (The Big Grill, Fowl Play) launched Baste BBQ To Go (click & collect) from a new base on Clanbrassil Street, Dublin 8.

Nothing heralds official summertime better than the heady aroma of authentic barbecue on the air, yet not everyone has the space to fire up the coals …

Enter Big Grill boffin Andy Noonan, whose Baste To Go barbecue concept began taking orders this week and will continue to do so, each and every Monday from 5pm, for pick-ups from its Dublin 8 base.

The Baste team have parked up their beast of a food truck, smokers and all, in a spacious yard where customers can order their fully cooked, ready to go BBQ for home. The menu is made up . Everything is cooked daily and sliced to order and ready to eat.

There’s a rotating menu of free-range, higher-welfare and rare breed meats slow-smoked over wild cherry wood and oak whiskey barrel staves to choose from.

Meanwhile, the team have put an emphasis on fresh sides and sauces, made from scratch, to complement the smoked and grilled meat. There are plans to introduce an additional grill menu too when they find their feet.

Baste To Go will also stock a range of BBQ products; restaurant grade charcoal, smoking wood, sauces, rubs and pre-smoked chilled meats, available for click and collect too.

Orders open on Monday at 5pm for Click & Collect orders Thursday to Sunday evenings.
