THE PROPOSAL happened in Helsinki (where their love first blossomed), with a ring Deirdre had spotted two years earlier and Alan had been paying off ever since. Aw!!

THEIR WEDDING STYLE is minimal with a few quirky elements thrown into the mix. Both Dee and Alan love Proven?e, in France, so the romance of this place is a big inspiration, as are personal mementos, ‘several years ago, my grandmother painted me a picture of her 80th birthday card from Alan and I – it’s vintage teacups filled with flowers – we would love to incorporate this into our wedding invitations or mass booklets.?
