An Arnotts- sponsored champagne reception and fashion lunch at the Shelbourne helped raise much needed funds for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young). The second Pure Style fashion event was emceed by the eloquent Mr Brendan Courtney who ensured that the raffle was well subscribed. It wasn’t that hard a sell- with some genuinely covetable items-to lure the punters in- an autographed Downton memorabilia (courtesy of Branson aka Alan Leech) and an Appleby’s piece worth €2,500.
