Bridal beauty reinvented…

Whilst looking for bridal beauty inspiration, the couture catwalks set our hearts a flutter. With a host of designers opting for soft shimmering taupe lids or a bold berry-stained lip, ?neath a veil of black lace – bridal beauty went supernova, and we liked it.

Chanel’s paper garden party saw make-up take a back seat. Karl Lagerfeld mastered the reinvention of the veil; a wide-brimmed hat with cloud-like tulle which sat atop silky golden tresses. While loose braids adorned with chiffon pom-poms and a blood-red lip tied the whole look together.

Dior’s show pony was the mane attraction (all puns intended). Luminous naked skin with a slicked-back tail, fastened with plastic-coloured hoops, really upped the ante.

Bold cat eyes at Atelier Versace offered a refreshing take on bridal beauty. Neon flicks set against porcelain skin was the focal point, while hair was swept into symmetrical partings for added drama.

Braided hair has become the modern day prescription for bohemian beauty looks. Thankfully, Valentino has revived this jaded trend, with soft whimsical locks of hair carefully teased and twisted with wildflowers for a romantic expression, perfect for bridal beauty.
