Confirmed: Westlife officially announce Croke Park ‘Twenty’ comeback tour

Root out the old t-shirts (just us?), forget about dusting off the CD’s because Spotify and Apple music now exists – just get ready. Prepare for the nostalgia, the flying without wings, the bop bop baby-ing because it’s official: Westlife is back.

Seven years since they announced that it was the end of an era, Westlife have announced that they will be touring as part of a special comeback tour in 2019.

Four grown men, irresistible pop songs (because they don’t quite make ’em as they used to) on those iconic high stools and all that cheeky side-eye? We’ll take it.

Celebrating their 20th anniversary, The Twenty Tour will kick off in Belfast on May 25th next with a run of live shows ending in Croke Park on Friday, July 5th.

The band will perform new songs alongside a mixture of their greatest, tearjerking hits.

The beloved foursome announced the news on social media on Wednesday night, confirming the tour rumours as well as news of an imminent new album.
