Calvin Harris Supports Taylor Swift’s Stand Against Apple

Calvin Harris Supports Taylor Swift’s Stand Against Apple

Taylor Swift & Calvin Harris

In Sheryl Sandberg’s Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead, she advised women on the type of partner they should build a life with. ?When it comes time to settle down, find someone who wants an equal partner. Someone who thinks women should be smart, opinionated and ambitious. Someone who values fairness and expects or, even better, wants to do his share in the home. These men exist and, trust me, over time, nothing is sexier,? she wrote.

Well, we think Taylor Swift may have found her perfect Lean In approved match in the World’s Highest Paid DJ/Best Male Makeover Subject Calvin Harris.

The past few days have seen the singer-songwriter causing all kinds of revolution after she penned on open letter to tech giants Apple, criticising their decision not to pay artists any royalties during its free trial period of its new music app. For three months, Apple was proposing not to pay royalties. However, one Tumblr post from Taylor (?I find it to be shocking, disappointing, and completely unlike this historically progressive and generous company. ?) and a bit of viralty saw Apple Music change its tune. Apple tweeted yesterday that it would reverse its decision and pay artists for the use of their work.

While the world basks in the transformative glow of girl power, it can also issue a heartfelt awwwwwwwwww after Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Calvin Harris took to Twitter to talk about his ?girl?.

While public display of couple smugness on social media usually have us reaching for the secret WhatsApp bitchery group message, we have to say we love that Calvin is supporting Taylor in what could have been a very risky endeavour. Great to see a man publicly applaud his girlfriend’s skills at industry domination.
