The evening, fondly dubbed as Ireland’s hair and beauty Oscars, had plenty to entertain. On arrival, guests were welcomed with bespoke Tanqueray gin and Ciroc vodka cocktails, created by Diageo’s award-winning mixologists and named after event hosts Darren Kennedy and Melanie Morris. Then, over a three-course dinner, with wine from Marks & Spencer, a host of spot prizes were awarded to lucky guests.
IMAGE.ie editor Ellie Balfe and iconic hair stylist Gary Kavanagh chose Asta Kalnins (5th Avenue)?and Robbie Barrett (Sugar Daddy)?as the most stylish on the night. Both win a stay at the Philip Treacy-designed g Hotel in Galway. The lovely ladies from Tropical Popical scooped the ?Best Selfie? prize of a luxury 2-night stay at Powerscourt Hotel, and the loan of a Mazda MX5 sports car for the trip.
After dinner, the LED dance floor lit up to the tunes of DJ Mo Kelly and dancing continued late into the night before many continued the party in Lillies Bordello. All left with groaning goodie bags packed with treats from Bourjois, Benefit, Fuscia, Blank Canvas, The Body Shop, Colgate, Imedeen, VitaCoco, Brodericks, and Just Eat.
