Brad Pitt on Angelina: “She’s sexy” And Other Lovely Things

Angelina and Brad at the Oscars.

In today’s dose of loveliness, Brad Pitt has decided to tell the world how much he adores his amazing, incredible, beautiful (blah blah blah, we get it) wife, Angelina Jolie. We’re really happy for them. We are. While some of us (this writer, mainly) just never got over the love triangle that was Jennifer Aniston, Brad and Angelina, who then became Brangelina, and we secretly like to imagine Brad watching re-runs of Friends, regretting how things ended with his then significant other, there’s no denying that Brad and Angelina are the real deal. It’s been ten whole years since they first began their romance, today they’re the proud parents of about 27 children. They’re such a solid couple; they’re even partial to working together on a movie, which is exactly what they did for By The Sea. In this movie, which has yet to reach our cinema screens, Brad takes his direction from Angelina (who also wrote the movie) and as part of the movie’s current promo, he’s been opening up aplenty about his unwavering adoration for this incredible woman. Here’s just some of what he had to say to V Magazine.

All they need when it comes to working together is ‘instinct’: “I operated on pure instinct. Angie and I have too much history and understanding of each other to question beyond there.”

He fancies his wife even more when she’s directing him in a movie: ?”It’s surprising how much I enjoy the direction of my wife. ?She’s decisive, incredibly intuitive, knife-sharp, and might I say, sexy at her post.” ?

But when they’re not gazing into each other’s eyes, they’re making sure their kids brush their teeth before bed: “??At the end of the day, we get to be parents, greeting our lovely, crazy children and talking about their day, making sure they brush their teeth, so all the tension from our day is tabled?until the next.”?

He sees their latest project as a metaphor for their amazing marriage: ?”[By the Sea] was probably not the wisest way to spend a honeymoon, but then again, fighting to make something together?what better metaphor for marriage? It’s not a film that responds to the current zeitgeist or mode of storytelling?rather, a quiet, mature look at the challenges of love and adult loss.”?

They’re each other’s lobsters: “I trust her with my life.”

And there you have it, #RelationshipGoals
