Benedict Set to Become Father

We’ve come to terms with the fact Benedict Cumberbatch is to be a married man. Last year he shocked the world when he announced his engagement to fellow actress, and all round amazing lady, Sophie Hunter in the Times Forthcoming Marriages section. In such a sidebar of shame obsessed world the news came out of the leftfield for many – especially Benedicts very loyal fanbase. ?Cumberbitches? had a collective Twitter meltdown. We just settled back and rewatched all of Sherlock, reminding ourselves that at least the idiosyncratic detective Cumberbatch is famous for will always be there for us.

Now it seems that the actor is about to tick all the major life moments off in one go – as well as impending nuptials and a potential Oscar for his role in the critically acclaimed The Imitation Game, word on the street seems to point towards Cumberbatch becoming a father.

Page Six reports that Ms. Hunter is pregnant and a few months along. That explains all the gorgeous loose fitting Erdem frocks we’ve admired on the theatre director as she accompanied her fianc? on red carpets these past months. The gossip site is also saying that a subdued spring wedding is on the cards for the couple.

The surefire bundle of joy arrived earlier than expected during the last week of December and is named Violet – which totally fits the Southern Belle vibe Blake rocks over on her lifestyle site Preserve.
