Aldi’s summer home collection will give your surroundings a refresh

Aldi’s summer home collection will give your surroundings a refresh

The start of summer might be different in 2020, no thanks to Covid-19, but when it comes to home interiors, a change (however small) doesn’t just refresh your surroundings – it’s good for your sense of wellbeing, too. Colours, light, the right piece of furniture all directly links to our mood and sense of calm. Aldi’s latest summer range contains the accessories you need to transform your bedroom and living space – without having to do a total revamp

Here are a few favoured selections from the range:

2-pack Frames, €4.99

A picture tells a thousand words but none is complete without the right framing. Choose from Lace Effect in grey, black or white or Wood Effect in white, black or grey; subtle, yet effective when it comes to adding life to an area of your favourite room.

Climate Control Bedding – prices vary

The majority of us change our bedding in the warmer months, confining our heavier duvets for the winter, and with that in mind, Aldi has created their Climate Control Bedding featuring unique ADVANSA hollow fibre technology to help keep you dry and cool during those humid evenings.

The range also features Climate Control Pillows (€9.99 per pair) to keep away additional moisture, as well as a Climate Control Mattress Protector (Double (€7.99) or King (€9.99) and their Climate Control Duvet (Double (€14.99), King (€17.99) or Super-king (€19.99).

Summer Tropics Duvet Set – Prices vary

Nothing says summer like a fresh duvet cover. Their bedding comes in a range of bright tropical designs or a darker navy hue, should you not favour a pattern. Approx. €16.99 and upwards each.

Flatweave Rug, €19.99 each

Perhaps you’ve spotted an area in your home that could do with some extra TLC? A rug is an easy way to freshen up any space in your home. These are available in two designs with tassels or two designs with fringes.

Tripod Floor Lamp, €49.99 each

Light makes a strong statement, whether it’s more minimalist, bold and brassy or geometric. The edgy tripod base (available in gold, black or silver) with accompanying white lampshade will give your space something a little different.

Natural Storage Baskets, €8.99 (per 2-pack)

Accessories make all the difference. If a total revamp is out of the question, these cute storage baskets will brighten up any room.

The above products (and more) are on sale in 142 Aldi stores nationwide now
