Adele’s Live Performance Of “Hello” Is Perfection

Adele’s Live Performance Of “Hello” Is Perfection

Since bounding back onto the music scene late last month, Adele has been pulling on everyone’s heartstrings thanks to her’stirring emotional comeback single Hello. In her years of absence, her powerful vocals have lost none of their strength or’depth; they’re a tad raspier since her 2012 throat surgery, but every bit as potent. ?Should you need convincing, this live performance of the track will say more than we ever could.

The record-breaking singer?graced the stage with the first full-length, live performance of “Hello” on Saturday night at the French NRJ Awards (there was a clip of a BBC version aired on Friday, but we won’t see it in full until November 20th), and it did not disappoint. Wearing a?classic?black Armani Priv? dress and trademark mile-long eyelashes, her stripped-down rendition of the tune?is perhaps even better than its recorded predecessor, and quite perfect. With the release of the John Lewis ad, this week has been an emotional rollercoaster for us all as it is, but?we couldn’t resist this performance, and we’re betting you won’t be able to either. Although, having kleenex to hand is a good idea if you’re feeling in any way fragile.

The album drops in a matter of weeks, and we can scarcely contain our excitement.
