8 Midi And Maxi Skirts To Wear To Your Next Wedding

See More Photos
If like us you’re at the stage where you have a different wedding to go to every month of the year, and sometimes thrice monthly in the summer time, you’ll be bored to death of rolling out the same ‘occasional’ dresses time and time again. They can be such a drain on your wallet, for something you get photographed in a lot, and therefore have zero interest in wearing ever again. But what if you took a more laid back approach and opted for a statement skirt? Our favourite high street stores are packed to the brim with gorgeous, and more importantly, affordable maxi and midi skirts that would work wonders when paired with the right accessories. But best of all, it’s not a complete outfit, so you will get the wear of it again, and be happy to pair it with something different. You can dress these skirts up to the max for your next wedding invite, or pare things back for a more casual summer dinner, by swapping out your heels for flats. As avid fans of the high waisted skirt with crop top combination, we’d almost always choose this look over a one-piece dress. Sometimes we’re just not in the mood to step into a dress, and sometimes we adore the opportunity of creating an ensemble that reflects our style and personality, rather than simply doing the rounds at Coast (where typical and lovely wedding outfit options are their speciality).

Here we round up 8 perfect options and wait patiently for the inevitable invites to fly through the door. We’re ready.
