My day in beauty with Pamela Laird: 'I apply lip balm ten times a day!'

Pamela Laird is one of Ireland's most successful young entrepreneurs, having built her beauty brand around clever problem-solving products you never knew you needed. Here, she talks about her personal best of beauty...

"I am for sure a morning person and usually up and out the door by 6am," says Pam.

"After the gym is when my skin routine starts, I always cleanse immediately after exercise as I find I can get breakouts if I don’t. I religiously apply lip balm I would say maybe ten times a day, I keep a lip scrub or the Egyptian Magic cream which I love, theres always one or two in my car and about five lip balms in my bag!"

"I generally just stick to foundation concealer and mascara day-to-day. At the moment I am loving adding in a glow primer under my make-up it feels more fresh and less cakey for day time. I am a religious user of dry shampoo even on freshly washed hair I feel it adds volume and brightens up my roots!"

Pamela’s top make-up tip?
“It’s all about good skin! Working on photoshoots has really shown me that most of the make-up artists really put effort into the prep and the make-up is only as good as the base so prepping the skin is key.”
