Last beauty-related thing I do before going to bed

Take off any make-up (usually a build-up of too much bronzer) and cleanse my face before putting on a night cream if my skin feels extra dry.

The best hair advice I ever received

Be gentle with it. Hair is very fragile, so don’t force combs through it and don’t attack it with a towel after the shower.

The foundation I always return to

I don’t wear foundation, but if I’m filming and want my skin to look flawless, I use Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free Broad Spectrum SPF 20 Sunscreen, €48 – it doesn’t look heavy and gives a healthy glow.

With hair, I’ve done it all

I’ve had long hair, a shaved head, blue, pink, silver hair, a mullet – thanks, 2004. I’ve found my look and I’m sticking to it now!

A product that’s always on my nightstand

Vitamin C serum.

The beauty appointment I never miss

A visit to my facialist here in LA – Celeste Rodrigues – once a week.

The first beauty product I ever bought

Probably concealer. And I actually stole it from Tesco. I had really bad skin in my early teens, and I was too embarrassed to buy make-up for myself, so I totally shoplifted it. I do not condone stealing, but I had to do what I had to do. God, I’m never going to be allowed back in Tesco again.

The worst beauty mistake I ever made

Again in my teens, I plucked my eyebrows. Thin. It. Was. Not. Good.

My signature scent

Tom Ford Patchouli Absolu, €188 for 50ml.

The first perfume I loved

Musk, and I still love it.

I never travel without...

Several portable chargers and an autobiography or two.

I remove my make-up with...

When I’m lazy, Simple wipes, €4.79. When I’m not, coconut oil.

My weird hair hack

When my hair feels a little fried, I use a conditioning treatment instead of hair gel.

The last beauty item I bought

Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist, €42. I’m addicted.

To me, being healthy means...

Listening to your body and eating as clean as possible.

I feel most beautiful when...

I have a good tan.

I’d really love to try...

My advice to a hairstylist starting out

Share everything. If I was starting out now, I would be experimenting and posting my creations. I would be making videos, tutorials, everything. It’s a really exciting time in the beauty industry, so don’t be afraid of sharing your work and point of view.
