From Wretch 32 and DEBBIE to Billykiss and Mango, the 0207 Block Party brought quite a few well-known faces to the Guinness Open Gate Brewery.

When was it?

Thursday 21st July.

Where was it?

Guinness Open Gate Brewery, 53 James’s Street St James’s Gate, Dublin 8.

Why were we there?

An event hosted by Universal Music Ireland, this Block Party was organised as a way to welcome Universal UK record label 0207 Def Jam to Ireland. A programme of events designed to showcase the London label’s roster and to highlight Black Irish music, there were performances and DJ sets on the night from the likes of Debbie, EFÉ, Offica and 2fm DJ Tara Kumar.

Who was there?

Among the performers and presenters, rappers and record label execs present were the likes of Katja Mia, Celavied Mai, Erica Cody, Felispeaks, KhakiKid, and many more.

An event that gathered some of the finest talent we’ve got here in the country under one roof this event welcomed the 0207 Def Jam label to Ireland with a bang.
