‘I was blown away by the camera and picture quality’: Florist Joeanna Caffrey on the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G

We asked florist Joeanna Caffrey to see how the Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G fitted in to her life.

Business owner Joeanna Caffrey runs her own flower shop, which receives a bulk of its orders online.

She aims to create a bespoke floristry experience, relying on her site to showcase her beautifully presented, luxurious flowers.

We asked Joeanna to try out the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2’s hi-resolution camera and colourful display to see how it could help her online business.

LIFE RIGHT NOW?

“I’m fortunate that my retail business through Avoca has remained open since June and my team are still with me. But I never take that for granted. I also had my little baby girl, Violet, in May, so this year has been mind-blowing in a lot of ways.”

WHAT BRINGS JOY?

“Violet, my husband Paul, my family, friends and my ten-year-old cat Teddy. And flowers. My personal favourites are Coral Sunset peonies – they change colour as they open.”

HOW ARE YOU AT MULTITASKING?

“I made the decision that I wanted to be as present as possible for Violet in these early years, but equally, I’ve put ten years into my business and am equally passionate about it, so life involves a lot of juggling right now.”

TECH DEMANDS IN 2020?

“I try to keep things simple but effective, using WhatsApp and Google Docs across the business. With multiple retail outlets, and the different areas of our business, I need to ensure consistency; in our pricing, our work, our deliveries and our ordering.”

WHERE DO YOU LIVE ON YOUR PHONE?

“For work, it’s email, messaging apps, Instagram and Facebook. Then for me, it’s all the news apps, with a bit of celebrity gossip mixed in as my ‘guilty pleasure’.”

THOUGHTS ON THE GALAXY Z FOLD 2 5G?

“I do all our social media, from photography to strategy, and was blown away by the camera and picture quality. I love the big, main screen – you can see every detail of an image, and I love that I can have multiple apps open at once.”

GOALS FOR 2021?

“To keep growing the business, to keep all our staff employed, and to see events and weddings return to their full glory.”
