Sometimes a business idea is just too good to resist it… even when you are working full-time in your own PR agency. For Paula Hurley, the idea of creating a luxury online boutique for dogs, and the people who love them, came after she adopted Biscuit the terrier. It took the pandemic to give her some time to establish the Butter Biscuit and the business is now two years in operation and going from strength to strength.

Paula Hurley is originally from Woodenbridge in Co Wicklow. She lives in Dublin with Biscuit, the inspiration behind her business Butter Biscuit. Here she tells her Start-Up Story:
