5 Christmas pop-ups to visit over the festive season

From female-owned small businesses to chocolate wonderlands, here are some of the very best pop-up shops and Christmas markets taking place this winter.

If you’re still in hot pursuit of the final items on your Christmas gift list, we’re rounded up some top notch pop-ups to shop over the coming weeks.

Whether it’s an inspired present for that special someone, or a little treat for yourself, here are five pop-up shops worth visiting this winter…

Christmas Pop-Up at Union Café

Saturday 17 December, 10am-3pm, Mount Merrion, Dublin

Taking place for one day and one day only, this Christmas pop-up market is run by a collaboration of seven Irish female-owned businesses that usually trade exclusively online. Bringing their offerings to a more tangible medium, this showcase will feature everything from candles and tableware to clothing, cooking lessons, and Christmas wreaths. Among the brands in attendance are online beauty store, The Beauty Kit; luxury gift brand, Orla of Ireland; and authentic Indian recipes from Mama Nagi’s.

The KASHmas Truck

Every week until Tuesday 20 December

Quite the unique Christmas-themed pop-up indeed, the KASHmas Truck have embarked on a roadtrip around Ireland to bring word of their Christmas Collection to a town near you. On the road until Tuesday 20 December, the KASH team will be selling their newly released Luxury Christmas sets and a variety of best selling products, designed to leave every beauty aficionado blissfully happy come Christmas Morning. They’ve also got a variety of luxe beauty bundles, some new and exclusive must-haves, and ideal sets to gift to a loved one.

Lindt Ireland’s first Dublin city centre pop-up

We’ve all got a handful of chocolate-lovers in our lives that genuinely couldn’t think of a better gift than this. The Lindt pop-up shop stocks an array of luxury chocolates including bars, sharing boxes and gifts. The Chanel Gift Expedition

Brown Thomas Dundrum is currently playing host to an exclusive Chanel pop-up that’s inspired by the No.5 ad campaign, featuring Marion Cotillard. Enter the spaceship control centre to find an out-of-this-world gift from the Chanel universe, explore the Chanel Holiday 2022 collection, and take a photograph with the Chanel dune buggy from the No.5 ad.

The Design Collective Pop-Up

This stunning pop-up hosts a unique collection of Irish brands ranging from chic Dublin-based handbag brand Peelo, to knitwear by Laura Chambers and incredible scented candles from Sómas. Whether it’s a pair of silk pajamas for your sister or a cashmere scarf for your other half, the Design Collection Christmas pop-up will have something for you.
