Wondering what to wear to all your upcoming festive engagements? Here's a peek at what the IMAGE team wore to give you a little inspiration.

Festive dressing can often feel like a lot of effort. It’s cold and dark outside, and you’re suddenly wondering why you agreed to leave the house at 9pm rather than stay in, all wrapped up and cosy.

But truthfully, all you need is a little inspiration, because once you’re feeling your best with a glass of bubbly in hand, suddenly the night feels young.

After a beautiful day ambling around the grounds of Kildare’s Cliff at Lyons, the team IMAGE gang got ready together for our Christmas dinner party under the vaulted glass ceilings of the iconic Orangery.

Bedecked in the jewel tones and sequins of F&F’s, it was a glittering, sophisticated dining affair – though the Christmas cracker paper hats did inevitably make an appearance.

The whole team got ready together in one of the Cliff at Lyon’s divine suites. Emily, Isabella and Holly got glammed up – Emily chose a beautifully draped black velvet number, while Holly opted for a sleek berry red slip skirt and satin cami, coupled with a fluffy white cardigan with embellished bows.

Once we were all slowly corralled into the magnificent Orangery, the table beautifully festooned in Tesco fluted glassware and delicate tableware, Dearbhla poured the bubbly and the party truly began.

In their warm mulberry tones, Dearbhla and Sophie gave a lesson in winter layering, with Dearbhla opting for a delicate pussy bow blouse, left open over a simple cami, while Sophie got cosy in a faux fur cropped jacket.

Dominique showed off her chocolate brown slip satin top and skirt, coupled with a versatile leather jacket, while Lizzie chose a mink-toned satin blouse and skirt.

As we sat down to eat, the Christmas crackers came out, and the silly season truly got underway.
