The iconic budget concealer that’s getting even better (by going socially conscious)

The iconic budget concealer that’s getting even better (by going socially conscious)

My favourite budget concealer just got a socially conscious upgrade and it makes me feel even better about buying ten of them a year…

It’s already one of the best budget concealers you can get, never mind that it’s €3.95. I buy them all the time and I really feel like it competes with my higher-end, spendy concealers (Naked Skin concealer by Urban Decay and Nars Radiant Creamy concealer – both incredible, but when I run out and only have a fiver, Liquid Camouflage is IT).

It’s got amazing coverage, it doesn’t crease (set it with loose powder just to be doubly sure) and it can even cover tattoos, so dark circles are an easy ask for it. My top tip would always be to use less than you think you need, and let it settle into the skin before adding more as needed.

Socially conscious

And now, I’m even more buzzed about buying it. They’ve just announced a limited edition version of the product, available until the end of July, that benefits and supports socially disadvantaged women from places like Syria and Colombia.

Our Heartbeat Project

The aim of the ‘Our Heartbeat Project’ initiative is to offer women the training they need for their dream jobs as either make-up artists or nail artists and thus enable them to not only develop their creativity but also to become financially independent.

It is currently available from selected pharmacies nationwide in this gorge limited edition rose gold heartbeat design with 10% of sales going directly to help these disadvantaged communities of women via organisations like Independence Through Art, ColorGlam By CadaVida and the Beauty For Life Program.

Oh, and there’s three new shades. How exciting!

The Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer will be available in this exclusive edition until the end of July 2019.
