Dulux recently announced teal as their Colour of the Year for 2014, though we’ve spotted it popping up in spring collections and design blogs for a while now. A mellow, yet rich hue, it plays nicely with pastels, a trend that’s still going strong and will continue through the year. Teal also scales well, so whether it’s a pop of colour on a cushion or vase, or you’re going big with teal tiles, it’s an easy trend to work into the home.
