Penneys’ New Home AW17 Collection Is Here

Few do budget-friendly homeware like Penneys. Their home autumn 2017 season starts with its Lazy Summer story. Available in-stores from May through to August, the range is shaped around stonewash indigo and soft desert pink shades. Think rose gold, folk tapestry sitting alongside frosted pinks and bright blues, a “rustic-yet-refined” collection of feminine accessories.

Next up and with a more contemporary edge, the Minimalux collection remains sleek and minimalist, bringing the mantra ?ease is luxury? into interiors. The hero pieces in this collection include palmistry prints with celestial scenes on cushions and coloured marble and gold gilded ceramics. Key colours are cool grey, soft salmon pink and metallic gold.

Finally, launching at the beginning of September is Penneys’ main autumn story, Hyyge. The Danish influence is layered on with warmth, cosiness, calm and contentment being the focal point of this trend. Standouts include the collection of faux fur rugs and sheepskin throws. Dotted on with wooden chairs or in front of a cosy log fire they create a natural, earthy feel. Materials such as wood, stone, and brushed copper add to the ?less is more?, homely atmosphere. Colour combinations come in a variety of neutral tones such as egret, birch, oyster grey, and pure cashmere that are then accented by peach blushes and ash greys.

Duvets will be €11, €16 and €20 for single, double and king respectively. While candles and plants start from as little as €2.50.
