Parisian style: French muse favourite Sézane launches Irish online pop-up

The Parisian brand is launching an online pop-up for Irish fans

When you think of French style, what do you picture? Impeccably turned out, while still maintaining an air of nonchalance. Basics and thrown-on accessories, all perfectly fitted of course. The right amount of colour and texture, with a distinct air of glamour. Parisian women have long been a source of style inspiration the world over, and the one thing they all have in common is their attitude to dressing – wear the clothes, and don’t let them wear you.

If you’ve ever wanted a sneak peek into the pieces that give a distinctly French feel to any outfit, all you have to do is search Sézane on Instagram. The Parisian brand’s tagged photos are a treasure trove of effortless Parisian style tips and tricks, and it’s a testament to the brand’s wearability. Sézane describe their ethos as ‘je ne sais quoi for all’, with high-quality, luxury pieces inspired by timeless vintage looks.

While Sézane’s ethos may be timeless, they are a distinctly modern brand – they are based entirely online, with a focus on avoiding overproduction and maintaining fair pricing. And now, Sézane are reaching out to Ireland for a unique online event especially for our capital.

At the beginning of the year, Sézane had planned a European tour of pop-up shops, with Dublin on the list of destinations, but with Covid-19 restrictions, the brand have had to rethink their approach. Instead, they are hosting their Dublin pop-up online, from November 29, to reconnect with Irish customers. Using the code BONJOURIRELAND, Irish customers can enjoy free express delivery and a free gift from the brand with your order.

The best part of the pop-up is that you’ll do a little good with your purchase. Sézane has partnered with Variety Children, a Dublin city-based charity that supports children with special needs. 10% of all sales from Dublin from the pop-up will be donated to Variety.

If effortless French style is what you’re after, we’ve chosen five pieces from the site we’ll have our eye on at the pop-up.
