Juvi Designs Empowerment Pendant To Raise Funds For ISPCC

If there is one cause the entire nation can get universally behind, it is the commitment to protect children and give them the childhood they deserve. Which is why we’re 100% behind the ISPCC’s latest fundraising initiative, which sees the worthy charity team up with Irish jewellery company Juvi Designs to create a pendant around the theme of empowerment. It’s a strong message, and the resulting piece is gorgeous.

The design incorporates the idea of an oak tree growing upwards from a small acorn. If a seed has such great potential, so do children. The pendant’s message is to nurture this hidden potential, by believing in the greatness of every individual child and encouraging their personal growth. The oak tree is engraved onto a ‘leaf, and rests behind an Aqua Chalcedony stone, which represents calming and is said to absorb negative energy. The pendant comes in sterling silver or vermeil gold. Radio presenter Louise Duffy helped launch the Empowerment Pendant last night in Arnott’s department store. Duffy is one of the ISPCC’s ambassadors and spoke warmly about the charity’s efforts.

ISPCC CEO Grainia Long’said the necklace will raise “vital funds” for the charity, and that “by purchasing this necklace your support will go a long way toward ensuring that these children and many more throughout Ireland are empowered and given the necessary support to help them reach their full potential.”

The pendant retails for €79 and 100% of the profits will go to the ISPCC. Get yours in Arnotts or online at?juvidesigns.com.
