Jamie Dornan is Starring in a Foodie Romance

He’s starring opposite Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller…

Ever since Jamie Dornan was announced as the replacement Christian Grey in the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey movie – you saw Beyonc?’s teaser Instagram, right? – he has been the hottest property in the business. His BBC television series The Fall has been drawing in new audiences, with everyone praising his depiction of the Belfast-based misogynist serial killer who is trying to outwit Gillian Anderson’s amazing detective. (For a look at the very creepy trailer for the second season of the crime drama see below.)

However, it’s only now that we’re hearing about the Northern Irish actor’s post-Fifty Shades film plans and already we like. Dornan looks set to star in a foodie drama with the other leading man du jour, Bradley Cooper AKA Mr. Suki Waterhouse. Adam Jones tells the story of an American chef, to be played by Cooper, who arrives in London in search of an elusive third Michelin star. Sienna Miller also stars, allegedly as a sous chef, and Jamie joins Emma Thompson and Downton Abbey ing?nue Lily James in the kitchen-set movie. Sounds good, doesn’t it?

We’re hoping Jamie’s character takes over the dessert menu. He’ll need something pretty and frothy after the bondage fest that promises to be Fifty Shades. Also, acting as a pastry chef might dispel all those images of him murdering women in The Fall. As for love interests, we’re always Team Emma Thompson.

Meanwhile, word on the #FiftyShades street is that tomorrow sees the release of the long-awaited actual trailer? Keep your eyes on Image.ie for the latest on that.
